REPORTS TO: Supervising manager

HOURS: This is a temporary, part-time, position which includes some weekends and evening shifts.  This position starts March 7th, 2022 or until filled and ends on May 31st, 2022.  Scheduling flexibility is an option.

SALARY: $20.00 per hour.

BASIC DUTIES: Responsible for tabling, working with community partners, and attending events across the county.

DIRECT DUTIES:

  • Manage booths with current and factual information about the importance of the COVID-19 vaccine.  This tabling will take place farmers markets, churches, college campuses, etc.
  • Communicate with individuals about the COVID-19 vaccine by cultivating the necessary materials.  These materials include educational brochures to flyers about up-coming events.
  • Promote the COVID-19 vaccine to individuals by providing incentives and a fully detailed description of what the program is about.
  • Keep track of each individual’s response to the program.  These responses will result from sign up sheets, text messages, emails, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to establish rapport.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to communicate program progress and/or status in an efficient and timely manner.
