POSITION SUMMARY: The HR Director is responsible for successfully providing a full range of HR skills to maximize the management of human capital and positively impact company success and profitability.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: This position reports to the COO and works in partnership with other positions within the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides the administration and delivery of HR guidance, training, compliance, and support to the Family Assistance Program management staff and employees.
Provides expertise in all areas of Human Resources including ACA, EEO-1, and CA Pay Data reporting.
Documents and classifies all staff trainings and certifications in updated shared folders
Partner with payroll support staff for successful completion of payroll.
Responsible for workers’ compensation claims administration overview and interaction with partners at Third Party Claims Administrators.
Manage and administer company benefits program.
Responsible for continued-development real time table of organization and employee directory
Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.
Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to proper resolution.
Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
Partner with Executive Director and COO to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
Supervise performance evaluations and salary reviews.
Provide support and guidance to HR staff.
Analyze trends in compensation and benefits.
Design and implement employee retention strategies.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
A minimum of 5 years of HR related experience
PHR, SPHR certification
Prior experience in payroll processing, process including knowledge of wage and hour laws.
Additional operations or business experience outside of HR is a plus
Demonstrated ability to write and develop presentations/trainings
Pass a back-ground check.
Must have valid Driver License and Auto Insurance.
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Salaried $72-$80K- Exempt based on education and experience. Paid vacation and sick time, paid holidays, and paid health insurance for full time positions.
