POSITION: Housing Case Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of Housing

HOURS: This is a full-time position. Hours can fluctuate based on the needs and schedules of participants. Some evenings and weekends may be required.

SALARY: $18.00 – $20 per hour

BASIC DUTIES: Address the needs of domestic violence victims in San Bernardino County who are participating in our Housing programs. Will meet with Housing Participants providing Case Management and provide appropriate referrals individualized to suit the individual’s needs. Computer knowledge of Office 365 and Excel. Must have a CA Driver’s License and good driving record. Provide transportation of participants to appointments as needed.



· Perform initial consultation and evaluation of victims of domestic violence.

· Be on-call to respond to the emergency needs of victims.

· Conduct weekly/monthly case management.

· Support for families and family reunification.

· Identify and address the needs of clients, making appropriate referrals

· Will provide Case Management with applicants and meet participants where they are at.

· Creating basic move-in budgets.

· Will assist with completing Restraining Orders as needed.


· Input client data into the management system in a swift and timely manner.

· Complete weekly and monthly program reports

· Other duties as assigned.


· Detailed understanding of domestic violence preferred

· Have knowledge of resources in the community.

· Have knowledge of Trauma Informed Practices.

· Excellent writing and speaking skills. Bilingual preferred but not required.

· Experience working with victims of domestic violence is desired.

· Completion of the 40-hour State Mandated Domestic Violence Advocate Training.

· Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

· Pass a background check.

· Must be vaccinated and have the 1st booster for Covid 19.
